Who am I?

I am a systems engineer and would like to call myself a hacker, but one could probably drop the "-er" and be more technically correct. I'm a huge fan of Linux and open source software in general, and I'm interested both in writing software and what makes the open source community "tick". This site is my platform for playing around with different open source technologies and providing some of the results.

Feel free to poke around on my blog or twitter, where I sporadically post things that are of interest to me. That might give you some idea of who I am outside of hacking around on software.

What is this?

Every now and again I get the thought "Ya know, I should really have a web site." So I bang around writing HTML in emacs until I'm more-or-less satisfied and chuck it up onto the web. This is that.

I've gone through this "phase" multiple times, this is just the latest iteration. This time maybe I'll let it stick around a bit.

What can you find here?

I'm hoping to post project and example code that I've worked on at various times in the past and present. I'm also going to use this site as a platform for tinkering around with various web technologies that I've previously had no (public) site for exposing.
